Shakespeare pathetic fallacy

shakespeare uses pathetic fallacy in order to represent human moods. “Threatening clouds”. This short quotation expresses a feeling amongst the audience. This quote doesn’t have to describe the weather it can represent the feeling/mood of a character. This dramatic device can be confused with personification.

“The Bible is the best guide we can have when making moral decisions”

I disagree with this statement because I don’t believe you should take decisions refering to the bible. I think decisions in your life should be taken by yourself because you are the only one that knows what is better for you. In addition think the bible is a tool in our lifes but not a guide. This why I believe that the best decisions are the ones you choose.

moreover, everyones lifes are different, not everyone takes the same paths. This means everyone has to take different decisions in different ocassion. futhermore, I believe decisions in life should be taken according to someone or something. I think things in our life should chose by ourselfs; the best way to live life is to be yourself.

on the other hand the bible can be a great guide or example of life like any other holy book. The bible can show examples for you to learn of other peoples mistakes, so that you dont do the same. Every story has a meaning and a lesson to teach everyone.

subsequently, there are many advises that can be taken by these holy books. In the bible there are many stories that can help you choose the right paths in life. The ten commandments which are like advises/rules in life that help you make the most out of your life.

Slavery abolition

From the 17th century until the 19th century, almost twelve million Africans were brought to the New World against their will to work under terrible conditions. For a long time this slaves had to go through things that you can’t even imagine living a miserable life.

Although there were rebellions from the slaved people themselves to the British population at first, it was only a few people that stood up and said their real thoughts about slavery. However slavery provided work, wealth and goods. This is why slavery took so long to abolish because at the end it was a very cheap way of having people doing jobs for small amounts of money.

Subsequently, slavery did not only occur in England, many other countries had slaves as well. For example in the early 1800’s there was a huge slave rebellion in Jamaica. In this rebellion a lot of slave owners were murdered or severely injured. This rebellion helped slaves in Jamaica achieve their target in their lives-to be treated as humans. After slaves had freedom in Jamaica. People started looking for a new destination for slaves; Barbados was the new country to trade slaves.

Furthermore there were lots of anti-slavery groups that sent petitions to parliament to stop slavery. One person made people see what was like to be a slave, this was Olaudah Equiano. Equiano wrote an autobiography about his life whilst being a slave. This man was one of the main people to help abolish slavery. In 1765 Granville sharp helped black slaves in England to get their freedom. Many of these slaves escaped from where they were kept and tried to get a court to trial to get their freedom. This new law that helped slaves to get their freedom back was the main reason why slavery was completely abolished in England.

Meanwhile another very important person involved in the abolition of slaves in Britain was William Wilberforce he helped by preaching out that it was wrong. Wilberforce talked to parliament in a few occasions about it. Then he started a petition were he collected 1.5 million signatures! Parliament agreed and in 1807 it was illegal to trade slaves; you could still have slaves this meant that slavery was not completely abolished.

At this time not everyone new had to read however as time went on people started reading stories of what a slave’s life were really like this made people change their minds on slaves. Soon after this, people started doing campaigns to set slaves free. People realised that slaves were humans and not property. People realised what slaves had to go through because there are humans as well, every human has feelings and fells things. After people actually realised how they were ruining black people’s lives they gave freedom to them. The only thing white people asked for from black people were to get forgiven. Everyone should have an equal right no matter of race or skin colour we are all equal. In 1833 everyone realised that it was wrong to have a human being as property. Slavery was completely abolished. Soon after this the slave trade was abolished and slave trade was officially illegal- black people could finally have freedom.

To finalise, thousands of people had to die for slave owner to realise that no one should be treated as property because every human should have an equal right no one is more or less than anybody else. How long would it take people to realise that slavery is wrong? How many more people have to die so that there is no slavery in the world?

The end

It was 2066 a new era has started, the world was being controlled by technology, We were being watched. The olympics had started, the world was changing, competitors were half human half robot. There was no more paraolympics. People had mechanical harms and legs. The woman that had mechanical legs was the winner of the 100 metre sprint. Was this the end of human race? Were robots going to take over the world?

Subsequently, something that use to be a help was now controlling us. Technology. There was a point in which the world had no privacy. The population of robots in the world had increased inmensly. This is the future. Now, humans were a waste. Technology is here. There was a point in which we wont be able to live without it. A new era in which humans were being controlled, robots were going to take over.

The human race was evolutioning. The world couldn’t resist a lot more because global warming was about to make the world into dust. After this all hope was lost. There was no more bright days all the world was covered by a huge cloud of smoke caused by pollution. As some people had predicted humans were slowly destroying the world and the end was nearly here. People were very different, everyone had to take extreme care with what they ate. In some parts technology was so advanced that it took over the human population. Places like japan, china, north korea and the united states of america only had robotic civilisation. Now the world was divided in two. The human civilisation and the robotic civilisation. A new race was conquering the world.

People were so obsessed with perfection that even tried to try regeneration, which meann if you loose any part of your body like a finger, hand, arm ETC “you will be able to grow it back.” Scientist tried to simulate the liquids in the placenta to be able to “grow any part if your body back to normal” all of this worked for sometime however reality was hidden to civilisation. People didn’t know how bad this was going to end. The NASA kept on finding new things everyday. However all of this was hidden from the world, only few people knew that there was life on other planets…

Aliens with more advanced technology came to earth with one target. To exterminate the human race and make earth another of their planets. Humans were betrayed by these mysterious creatures. First they made us think that they were our allies, a great tactic they used. And us humans had the ambition of having more and more and more. This was the world’s death sentence. This was how we were getting advanced technology. We couldn’t live with out this technology and when they stopped giving us all of this, this was when the world collapsed. These creatures took advantage and decided to attack us. This was the end.

I hope that if anyone is reading this could realise how humanity ended and it could help the next civilisation to not make the same mistake.

Dystopia- The bridge

Behind the car was a man standing staring and the two security guards. His eyes moved from side to side looking at every move the guards did. Beneath the bridge was a deep sound penetraring the water, the dog barked with no stop. His ears were alert. He could feel the man’s bad intensions. The shadow of a boy behind the man had the guards under pressure. Only darkness. Every step he took was vital. The guards started sweating and getting nervous.
